My CrossFit Story:

The details are hazy especially since most of the blood had left my brain for my extremities. I'm referring to my first WOD ..Fight Gone Bad. I recall doing something like six wall balls my third round, maybe six box jumps...you get the picture. A change had to happen especially since I still thought of myself as an athlete. Reality hit me pretty hard that day and I knew this training program would be for me. I've come a long way in two and a half years but I feel I've got even longer to go...and that's the fun part. What I do best is play tennis. I've played ever since I can remember anything. I had a decent world ranking at one point. Today, because of crossfit I can still compete at a pretty high level and have fun. Crossfit has also helped my golf game a ton. So for me it is a way of life, one in which fitness defines who I am and fuels the fire inside. I am excited for the future and look forward to being the best athlete that I can be at whatever age I happen to be measuring.
